Description:
Pud, a young boy, and Gramps are devoted to one another. When Death comes to take the old man, he refuses to go and tricks Death into climbing an apple tree from which he can’t descend. With Death up a tree, the whole world is on the brink of eternity for no one is able to die. Special Note: Pepper was Judge J. C. Beard’s dog and was known to offer barks for days to be served for petty crimes.
