Most long-time patrons of the Playhouse will recognize Danny from his many on-stage performances in musicals and comedies over the past few decades. In the spring of 2024, he appeared as Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown, The Musical. Other favorite roles include Andy in Looking, John Adams in 1776, Heinzy in The Pajama Game, Lucky in Dames at Sea and many, many more. Last fall, he joined a wonderful group of students at Daytona State College to play Ben Weatherstaff in a delightful version of The Secret Garden.
Danny has also served on the Playhouse board of directors for twenty years, including ten as President. Previous directorial efforts include Promises, Promises at the Playhouse and others at Spruce Creek High School, where he spent thirty years as a history teacher.
